Biting Your Tongue

Hello lovelies, happy Saturday! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far and are having a lovely day. I am having a major work day, catching up on lots of work that I haven't managed to do since I've been poorly. This week I want to talk about something that I used to be totally rubbish at. I am stupidly opinionated and strong minded and passionate and this isn’t a great combo with the internet. Since I have been on the internet, if any kind of argument/disagreement has happened, I would have been involved and I would have given my opinion. Within ten minutes, I would instantly regret this and wish I hadn’t got involved.

Recently, I have noticed myself being much less confrontational online and in person. I am still just as strong minded, opinionated and passionate, but just keep it to myself or rant to my boyfriend afterwards. I don’t know if this is because I’m getting older and more mature, but I love how I am now.
There has been quite a few arguments this year with my course mates and basketball team, but I have just sat to one side, let everyone else argue it out and then I can never be held accountable or say something that I’ll regret and I just feel so happier in myself.
If you are someone like me, or like I used to be with my need to argue, don’t worry, it gets better! Nothing really phases me anymore, I just get on with things, stay out of confrontation and my life is so much happier. I am starting to worry less and it’s just wonderful.

Say what you feel, but think before you speak. Rather bite your tongue than say something you can't take back.

Say what you feel but think before you speak. Rather bite your tongue than say something you can’t take back.
I hope this helps in someway, and it felt good for me to just recognise that I am changing into a person that I am happy and comfortable to be and I don’t say things that I regret and wish I didn’t say afterwards!
Enjoy the rest of your day :)
