Losing Weight Without Breaking Sweat

This is a contributed post.

Sure, exercise is great and hand’s down the best possible way to lose weight; there is no denying that. It burns calories and that is how weight loss occurs. The more calories the more weight, it is relatively simple math.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some little tips, tricks and extreme measures you can take up in your quest to slim down a little or a lot. What’s more, these measures won’t leave you huffing, puffing, sweating, panting or grabbing at your stitch as your curse up at the skies. That’s kind of a win right there.

Lights, Noise, Action.
Yeah, lights and noise can have a big impact on how much we eat. It is to do with the way the sense stimulate the brain. In fact, studies have shown that those who eat at restaurants with dimmed lights and less noise eat on average 175 calories less than those who eat at restaurants where the lights are up and the music is pumping. Just remember that.

No More Denial
So many people live in denial instead of tackling their weight head on. They refuse to stand on the scales, they buy clothes that have some stretch in them, they stand at the back of a group photo, anything they can to avoid reality. That’s where doing the opposite can get you into action. Standing on the scales and at the front of photos will allow you to see what action needs to be taken, whether it be eating less or eating healthier. The realization spurs you on, even if it is subconsciously.

Doctor Weight Loss
Apart from you and your immediate family/friends, a doctor tends to play the most pivotal role in a person’s weight loss. The reason for this is, they can help you understand the critical information that you need to know, whether it be about your health or how you can better lose weight. It could be that you go down the plastic surgery route to achieve your goals, it could be medications will help, or it could be that you just need to eat more fruit to help your metabolism. Your doctor can help set your goals and help plan your route to achieving them.

Sleep Like A Baby
It’s a weird turn of phrase given most babies don’t sleep very well, or at least for very long, but you know what we are trying to say. Think about it logically, though. When you’re tired, you snack more. You just consume out of mild delusion. This is because a tired brain is less able to control any impulses it has, which is why you need to go to bed when you are tired. Sleeping can literally stop you piling on the pounds, and you can do so without breaking a sweat.

Breakfast Is The Best

We don’t mean a fry up. We don’t mean a bacon sandwich with thick toast. What we mean here is a protein-heavy breakfast. Eggs, yogurt, oats, peanut butter; that sort of stuff. The reason for this is protein makes you feel fuller for longer, while also boosting your metabolic rate. This is all good when it comes to weight loss. Another little trick is to not weight until the next main meal to eat again. No. Pick up a healthy snack a few hours later, trust us, it’ll work.
